Q3A/Q4 question.

Which is more active? A group of mates are all moving from another game and wanted to know which would be better to buy, the idea is for online play, single player's not really important.

considering how q4 sucks, i'd take a guess and say q3 is more active.

quake 3 is the best competitive FPS ever. People will argue re. best teamplay game, etc.
But for skill-based competitive fragging, quake3 got it just right and nothing else has ever topped it.

quake 4 is (in my opinion) after the point releases basically quake 3 with better graphics but NOT QUITE right. you just can't beat quake 3 for fun of play. I don't know why, but everytime I go back to q3 it just feels 'right.'
