Hey, so my keyboard is dead and i've been looking at wireless desktops for a while now and this gives me a pretty good excuse to go get one. Any suggestions? Looking to spend between $50 and $80, I prefer MS mice but logitech keyboards but i can deal with one if i have the other.
(typing on my laptop)
Wireless keyboard/mouse combos?
Wireless keyboard/mouse combos?
The dream is dead.
Re: Wireless keyboard/mouse combos?
I had this for awhile. Seemed quality but the keyboard ate batteries fairly quickly with all the gaming. (Every 3 weeks about, mice last longer, I'm now using an identical wireless mouse without the KB and batteries in the mouse last 3 months-ish)
Never used a logitech wireless setup. I will say, I don't like the "squishy" keys on logitech and MS keyboards. I prefer more "tactile feedback" so I always end up back on a $10 keytronic keyboard.

Whats your setup Fury? Wireless mice are great but wireless keyboards seem to me to be hassle for no benefit...

it's a handy thing for watching tv from my bed.
I'm thinking about the MS wireless laser 4000
feels pretty comfortable and battery life sounds ok (plus i have rechargeables)

What kind of moron uses a wireless mouse?

I'm using a Mx700 Wireless Duo. The keyboard batteries will last me about a year (had this set for at least 2) but the mouse seems to drain every ~5 days.creep wrote:Every 3 weeks about, mice last longer, I'm now using an identical wireless mouse without the KB and batteries in the mouse last 3 months-ish

New Apple BT keyboard, and MX Air mouse.
Won't fit that budget though.

That new Apple keyboard's pure sex except they killed the numpad and other function buttons. I'd buy it if it was actually full sized like the wired version.
