I took the step out and the ramp / trick jump with the as well as the step to the RG ledge because none of these are in the original. I did this deliberately to see if anyone commented on them. They are very easy to pop back in if people feel it improves the flow ... I'll have a play a little later as I will with the weapon / item layout and see what I can come up with.

Ah..forgot about that one also.. I like them there, but I dunno..up to you. If you want that only on the first version..thas cool. It would keep them different. Their only useful for promode gameplay..so it really keeps the map vQ3'ish without them. I do also like the first version so you know..
On the second one.. it seems like it could be a bit darker. I put r_gamma at 0.8 on it, and it felt good...though I'm not sure whether that would be to dark for someone or not :smirk: not for me.. Seems really bright in the RG room.

Ok, new version is in place. Again see top post for screenies and download link .. or use the one below.

EQ2 update includes:-

1) Replaced white lights on stairs with yellow lights in megahealth altrium.
2) Toned down ambient lighting in megahealth altrium.
3) Added 2nd RL in corridor between upper lifts.
4) Added LG at other end of RA corridor.
5) Added a little more health.
6) Redistributed the ammo.
7) Added back in the trick jump sticky out bits/ramp thingy.
8) Switched the Green Armour back in.
9) Changed the bots to Xaero and Hunter.

EDIT: My intent here is to get the EQ2 version nailed and then I'll come back to the original version and wrap that up also. I'll probably rename the EQ2 version at some stage to be just "Fora_Rage" and then the alt version will added to the pk3 (I'd only need to add the bsp and the aas - as it's pure Q3 textures, other than the one under the mega health and that's already in the EQ2 version), so I have just one pk3 and I'll probably name that "Fora_RageAlt".

Quick observation on my part .. I'm not sure about the lamp model on the Alternative (Original) textured version ... I don't really like the way it leaves that black square around the light .. I assume that's an error in the texture / shader ... but I don't know how to fix that ... so I might just swap it out completely.

Looks good to me..though I'd remove the 2nd RL that you added in there. It just seems a bit excessive, since it's really close to two other weapons on the second level in between each hallway curve, and if you turn on one of the corners and drop down, the other RL is there very close also.
I like that you changed the RL ammo behind the RL to PG ammo..as it seemed like alot of the time that the RL ammo was being lost to a first pick up to the RL..keeping the ammo out of the inventory(backpack).

That's a good idea that you want to merge the maps together, but I'd call the first version fora_rage_q3 instead of ALT...since it is the Q3 focused version. just a thought.
