Guys, can we get back to the fact that there is a slightly better framerate in the 360 version?

I dunno which of the two I would buy based on that review. I am actually just about to be poised to buy one of the two consoles and I'm still pretty conflicted.

[quote="NightshadeOk, so that answers my question. You really DON'T understand the words that you're using. I'm not exaggerating (spelling ftw) anything, I'm just pointing out your blatant idiocy and hypocrisy. You think that there's a difference between taking a day off to do whatever you want is fine as long as it doesn't pose a problem for your lord and master, the Almighty Employer. Taking a day off to play video games is bad for the company and (in what you consider to be your ONLY point, because you suck at using your native tongue) unprofessional. Wage slave. :olo:[/quote]

How about I just calls you names from this point forward and claim your grasp of my side of this converstion is that of a retard.

I'm good with that.

Gwamps: You have made many more claims than you claim to have claimed. Nightshade, being capable of reading simple sentences, is aware of this.

You have gone pretty far in your ignorant flailing. And you're wrong, to boot. :( Using leave that has been given to you by your job is quite the opposite of unprofessional. It's being willing to work within the guidelines that are given to you.

Now will you please shut the fuck up about this stupid, stupid topic so we can get back to talking about this exciting new video game? I think that the DLC is pushing me toward the 360. On the other hand, aren't there going to be Final Fantasy exclusives for the PS3? I AM SO CONFLICTED U GUIZE

Well...

PS3:

Single Player game
Multiplayer with no friends because nobody has a PS3

360:

Single Player Game
Multiplayer over Live which everybody has and will be played like no other game around, may even knock COD4 off the top.
Custom sound tracks (not in PS3 version lol)
Gamer Points = more little challenges to keep you busy
Extra city downloads at some stage.

So erm... Pick one.

Well, the DLC isn't necessarily a 360 exclusive, and Sony's online is only going to get more robust now that it's the best solution for the only HD disc format standing. Which leaves... custom sound tracks.

I may like cock now and then, but I am not gay enough to pick which console I will buy based on the soundtrack. :(

Erm, the DLC "IS" 360 exclusive. Seeing as MS paid a fuck ton of money for it to BE exclusive ;)

While PS3 may get extra clothes are stuff, the 360 gets the big stuff, and there are talks about it being Vice City size expansions (Unlikely).

It will more than likely be Oblivion style expansions.

Well, I was checking based on that article, but you're probably right if they paid a shitload of money for it.

I like DLC. That's the whole reason I want to buy a real next gen console; I refuse to get Rock Band for the Wii and be fucked on DLC like I am with GHIII. :( I guess the 360 does look like the winner.

wii's rockband is also an even lighter version of rockband than the ps2 version is, so dont even think about it.

and yea, GTA4 DLC is exclusive for 360 atm. its prolly a timedexclusive but as odium pointed out, the 360 actually has an active MP network.

also if you get it for 360 you can play with the cool kids like me

Well there is that. I do love cool kids.

It's the "ATM" bit that's got me slightly hesitant. That and the FF games.

can we get back on the more important issue of what TNF does with his time off? and framerate? we need to be arguing over frame rate more than anything.

i will camp this game if i have the money tomorrow... sounds like it could be fun

I'm wondering which is more important. A better framerate on the 360 or less pop-in on the PS3.

I think the best solution is to buy both games for both systems. If you're missing one or both systems, then obviously you'll need to purchase what you're missing.

For me this means a brand new 360 and a PS3 (which I don't have). I want a new 360 because I don't want to run the risk of an RRoD putting a temporary stop to my playtime.

Obviously.

good idea. i have a second 360, but it doesn't have hdmi so it looks like i'll have to purchase a replacement for that with hdmi. Christ i couldn't imagine having to deal with lower framerate AND a less than stellar picture over component!!!!

No, ya assfuck. I never said anything about one day off being detrimental to a company.

So you've concluded from the above statements that I somehow implied, one day’s aggravation of planning around one person's absence would be "detrimental" to a company? :dork:

Well Columbo, I'm afraid you've fucked it up again.

Wow, 10/10? I don't know if I've ever seen IGN give that score. I can't afford not to pick this up...

i think only Zelda 64 and Soul Calibur 1 have gotten that score, but I'm not sure. Oh, and tons of GBA games, but the GBA editor is somewhat of a memron.
