Wall-E - 8/10
Really enjoyable film which was very nice
Also, i'd upgrade to a 9/10 because of the skit before the film. I laughed so hard it was untrue

Re: The last movie you saw
Went to see the Dark Knight in IMAX but it was sold out AGAIN! We're buying tickets a week ahead of time now, just to be sure.
So instead, we went to see The Mummy 3 (against my wishes). I hate Brendan Fraser in general and he's no better in this movie, his son looks as if he's just a few years younger than he is, Jet Li (who would normally be awesome) spends most of his screen time in CG and doesn't do any of his normal Kung-Fu stuff (what a waste, they might as well pick some random Asian guy for the role). Michelle Yeoh was the only redeeming factor in the movie, she's a terrific actress, but her screen time in this movie is rather brief.
It was rather boring in parts, nothing really exciting. Action was mostly blurry shots of fist punches. Entirely cliche.
4/10

In Bruges : 8/10
really enjoyable. I'm not afraid to admit i underestimated Colin Ferrel, he is really good with the emotions in that movie. liked the story, acting, the atmosphere. Probably some of the best violence i've seen, the puffs of matter that follow bullet trails when people are getting shot was an excellent effect... but that leads to my main gripe, people stay alive way too long after sustaining massive injury. it pulls the viewer out of the scene pretty abruptly in those situations.
Juno: 6/10
was a cute movie, and i liked the dialog, and especially loved Juno's father. Acting was a bit phoned in though. Jennifer Garner, was pretty out of character, but she was just playing charlotte from sex and the city, Bateman and the kid that played bleaker seemed exactly the same characters from arrested development and ellen page just made me thing she was doing a Janeane Garofalo impression from start to finish.
Semi-Pro: 4/10
had lots of potential to be pretty funny, but failed on most accounts. major crime was that it was too much of a basketball movie and not enough of a comedy.

Star Wars - 8/10
The Empire Strikes Back - 9/10
Return of the Jedi - 7/10
Yesterday, i rewatched the whole trilogy with some friends. Haven't seen them for like 7 years. I never realized that Episode V is actually the best movie in the series. Unitl now i liked the Episode VI the most but The Empire Strikes Back is just awesome story- and characterwise. The scenes between Han and Leia are pure awesomeness:
"You like me because I'm a scoundrel. There aren't enough scoundrels in your life. "
Really great scene.

You mean Empire Strikes Back.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.

At last... "Doom" (3/5)
I really liked the 1st person shooter styleee camera angle.
Acutally it was more appealing than playing.
While watching this movie, I couldn't help but guess that the rock might be a relative of ydnar or seremtan.

Dark Knight 8/10
What everyone said. Ledger carries the movie, the magic trick was goddamn hilarious, etc.
Missed the first 15 minutes due to circumstances, so i'll have to see it again sometime.

Re: The last movie you saw
I posted before he edited it, dumb dumb. That also doesn't change the fact that you got the title wrong and the title never changed in his post. The edited part added the comments after the ratings. Nice try though.
Re: The last movie you saw
His first post, pre-edit, said this:

After I pointed out that he meant The Empire Strikes Back, he edited it to read this:Pext wrote:Yesterday, i rewatched the whole trilogy with some friends. Haven't seen them for like 7 years. You finished getting thoroughly destroyed by me yet Randy, or do you desire to be owned some more?Pext wrote:Yesterday, i rewatched the whole trilogy with some friends. Re: The last movie you saw
You still got the title wrong. That's what I was referring to. Not the changing of the movie.
Re: The last movie you saw
Oh the never ending bitterness.
Re: The last movie you saw
No, I didn't. God you're fucking thick. He was referring to ESB, the quote is from ESB, he edited it to say ESB. You're a fucking retard of the highest order.

Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
Re: The last movie you saw
Nice edit Randy.Scourge wrote:You still got the title wrong. That's what I was referring to. Not the changing of the movie.

So I'm wrong because you were referring to something completely different than what Pext and I were referring to. Lulz galore.

Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
Re: The last movie you saw
Once again. I'm not talking about where he changed it from Return of the Jedi to The Empire Strikes Back. I pointed out that you left out "The" in the title and you missed the point completely. Go back to school.
Re: The last movie you saw
You owned yourself really bad this time Randy.

Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
Re: The last movie you saw
It's not my fault you assumed I was referring to the same thing.
Re: The last movie you saw
It's definitely my fault you're so owned and bitter.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
