Shaping up quite well. I like the crisp, clean look of it.
Nice counter balance for all those cliched, worn down textured games.
It seems to be more of a first person mover than a first person shooter with a lot of precision aiming, so I think using a pad won't really be much of an issue.
I think I'll get it for the xbox.

i'm still waiting for the game that the a.i. isnt absolutely retarded in and i get the feeling this game will not be anything special

Looks alright. It's certainly a step up in terms of "environmental interactivity" beyond explosive barrels and ladders. I have no idea how long the game will be but - like Portal - it seems like a puzzle game more than an action game.
