This particular insanity is big business. Money tends to give things a bit more leniency.

I just beat the game on hard. Fucking epic story. Everything about this game is awesome. Definitely GOTY material. I'll definitely be working on 100%ing the game soon and starting a New Game+ after that.

you can steamroll through it pretty quickly if you ignore all the sidequests.

also, beating it on hard isnt a worthy achievement. 100%ing it is. sucks that you have to do all that shiznits all over again

Yeah, Hard was pretty easy. Probably made easier because I played the last game on Hard several times...

I did right out of the gate and it made the game more enjoyable than I think it would have been on Normal. It doesn't make puzzle stuff particularly harder to get, either.

New Game+ mode is fun, too. Harder than Hard, but not impossible. It's a good challenge so far, but I'm still not up to the halfway point yet, so I'm sure it'll tax my abilities before too long. Plus, you can swap between your New Game+ character and your Hard character on the fly using the same save file, so there's no reason not to start a New Game+ game.

I am disappointed that New Game+ does reset the side missions. It's understandable but now I'm torn between playing New Game+ or continue in my regular game to wrap up the side missions. I think I'll do the side missions in my regular game then do new game+, ignoring all the side missions.

Oh, and Harley Quinn DLC will be released April 30th for XBox 360 (800 MSP) and April 29th for PS3 ($9,99).

Just start over. It's a terrific game. How far did you get?

I liked Arkham Asylum better. I preferred the linear gameplay. I really like open world games, not sure why Arkham City was an exception to that.

I started game plus...but I was also cracking through the riddler challenges etc and got through to puzzle 5 and had half the question marks throughout the game.

I might play through it again on easy and just steam through it, but then I have plenty more to play (AC:B being the main one) so I'm not sure if I'll pick this one up again

I'm kind of stumped by the sniper side missions by the way. Does anyone know what (if anything) you need to do after locating the dead body? I only found the second dead body and there's the yellow tracer to follow. It goes straight through the water tank but then ends abruptly under a casino sign. Not sure what to do next.

Is there a way to trigger side missions to progress? I haven't gotten any progress on the identity thief. Only the first victim. The mysterious observer is an odd one as well. Not sure if the marks can be deciphered somehow? I've ran into him three times by sheer luck.

Oh yeah not sure if it's worth it then. Quite a few Riddler trophies are fun to find but some of them are a frustrating chore. And if you have to play all the way through the entire game just for that... nah, stick to Brotherhood I'd say.

Look what they've done to the pretty minimalist box art for the GOTY edition:
