Hi,
There is a new version of the Radiant editor for Linux users. Very easy to build and/or install. Please, check out the following WEB site if you are interested:

Announcement: Linradiant level editor for Linux
Re: Announcement: Linradiant level editor for Linux
Interesting, I see that your branch is based on NetRadiant. The GtkRadiant team has been working on stabilizing the 1.6 branch for both Windows and Linux. There have been some pretty big changes recently to make building much easier, particularly with fixing dependencies and other issues. The ultimate goal is to also provide prepackaged Windows and Linux binaries. TTimo already has some recent Windows binaries (May 6th) up for developer testing. There is both a Windows and Linux build manual somewhere.
Perhaps you would like to contribute? You can create your own fork of the repository on GitHub, make changes and submit a pull request. They need more programmers to help out.

really?? A big reason I went back to windows is because radiant wouldn't work with my linux. Good to know for the future though I guess. :P
Re: Announcement: Linradiant level editor for Linux
Hi,
Finally -- after getting advice on the Xonotic forum -- I was able to make a Windows version of LinRadiant as well. It is as easy and simple to build and configure as the Linux version. The LinRadiant WEB site (http://linradiant.intron-trans.hu) has been redesigned and updated. It contains now a lot of stuff including:
Source and binary packages for Linux and Windows
Detailed instructions about how to build and configure LinRadiant (for both Linux and Windows)
Detailed instructions about how to install and configure the MinGW/Msys system needed for building the editor under Windows
Complete package of Windows dependencies for building LinRadiant under the MinGW/Msys system
Please, visit the site, test the stuff and let me know your opinion.
