EE is just one mod out of the whole pack, and you don't have to enable it, therefore Tekkit doesn't suck

there's a lot of shit going on with the technic pack. it's pretty awesome

the mo'creatures spawn rate could use tweaking; it's like a fucking zoo around my house :/

technic pack = awesome

Foo is totally wrong about EE: it costs a fuckload to build a quarry, then takes an age to make back everything you spent with the condenser. it's not an all-you-can-eat diamond buffet at all

mo'creatures still sucks though

Finally got around to updating the map program. It now shows all textures, including jungle. I added 90 and 270 degree views of spawn. I also added a "underworld" view of the work we've done in the area underneath spawn.

I also disabled showing biomes for a more consistent look, although oceans now are a little fucked up looking.

It automates processes and assembly of components.

Basically, you put in ore, let's say raw iron ore. It sends it to a macerator which gives you iron dust. Then it sends the dust to a furnace to be smelted. Then the ingots to an automatic crafting table where it is combined with other components, which have also been processed in another section.

I just went for a walk around and you guys are ridiculous. Seriously. The detail is seriously inspiring. You guys should totally try the pvp side of things though, lots of fun to be had building defensive buildings meant to kill people. My pit traps have killed a few people.

minecraft pvp looks wank. the combat is pretty gay, and even the traps depend on which texture pack people are using for them to work

I quite like it actually, with potions, bow and arrow and a few other tricks it's not quite as black and white as it once was.

It's true texture packs matter but if everyone is playing by the rules then it's not a problem. I'd like to see a quake3world faction on the server I play on it'd be pretty epic.

lol... it's funn you say that, I shit you not, my office used to be a strip joint.

Why does my life sound so fucking unbelievable all the freaking time?

I'm a geek, who hung around with really bad people who sold cocaine that went on wild adventures, had a gun in my face, avoided getting arrested with guns and drugs found in my car and I wind up working for the top IT company in town situated in the previously occupied sole strip club in town. I mean seriously, I wouldn't believe me if I heard me talking about this on the internets but if anyone wants to put money on anything I've ever said there are witnesses to pretty much everything.

I don't see the big deal. It's obviously tucked away in a basement somewhere as evidenced by the window placement, so no view. It's furnished somewhere between IKEA and Pier 1 Imports. Just toss in some mood lighting and a couple glass walls for the conference room. Why are nerds frothing over this, have they never seen anything but cubicle land?
