the accents in the campaign really cracked me up...

skyfall

i thought it was pretty good, although i don't know what to rate it out of 10... the story wasn't exactly revolutionary, and somehow Bond is extremely good at surviving underwater. twice. so, probably 8/10. 2.5hrs long, so worth the $6 to go see it

it could be a grower. Watched it at the cinema, we were late it so was very close to the front.

seemed a little disjointed to me, and the villain was crap.

The thing with the villain is that he will never outdo 'no country for old men' and that's all he'll ever be to me. And how does MI6 lose visibilty on this guy for so long? seriously??

As in spoiling M's fate?

Yeah, that's pretty much som's contribution to these boards;
Spoiling movies, priding himself for warezing shit, being an insecure little racist faggot, and superfluously spam driver updates.
Quite the asset.

Skyfall = 6/10 - This is easily the best of the reimagined Bond films, but only because they abandoned their "new & improved" formula and went back to the old. It still has a long way to go to recapture the vibe and charm of the classic series, but at least this time it actually felt like a Bond film.

About fucking time.

P.S. Fuck M...she's been a bitchy character trying to ruin everyone's fun since the minute she was first on-screen.

Yep. i'm happy with the format other than they need to bring back some real villains with robot arms etc etc. it's a hard balance to hit, get it wrong and basil fawlty will make your car disappear.

A lot of that push came from the studio very high up; they were interested in doing something original and not one more franchise film. That really came to a head at the studio – the major push to focus on the new mythology of Prometheus and dial the Aliens as far back as we could came down from the studio.

Original script seemed much better.

"Best movie of 2012" was a troll. Everything else I've said about it is sincere though.

yep, reading reviews before going to see a movie whose trailer featured Tom Hanks in what looked like a latex chinaman face: clear sign of character flaw.

The Amazing Spiderman - 7.5/10

Really enjoyable but some annoyances. Loved how he uses the webs as a device like he was meant to. That was the thing that really annoyed me about the "original" films. I'd happily watch the second.
