never fear, underdog is here.

almost all the shit-teams beat much better ones today... it was apparently backward thursday and no one told me.

colorado over san jose 5-2
phoenix over chicago 2-1
florida over buffalo 3-1
boston over toronto 3-1
tb over atlanta 8-0

wtf?

olo, I fucking bid on all the stronger, losing teams at Sportsgamer. Fucking awesome.

Oh and Boston is the better team over Toronto. Leafs have lost 6 straight in the 3rd period :olo:

So Leafs finally grabbed a win last night on Tampa. Gotta give props to Paul Maurice, the man is a quality coach :icon14: Felt the game slipping away with less than a minute into the 2nd at 3-1 and pulled Aubin and a timeout. 5-4 Leafs win.

And Sid the Crybaby Kid was on fire tonight, 6 points for a career-high. Was getting really annoying when they kept talking about Lemieux's 8-point career highs...I GET THE POINT THE FIRST THREE TIMES MR PIERRE MONSTER FAG. Oh and poor Niittymaki made superb saves. His defence was letting him hang all alone and Jon Stevens knew it.

And of course, Selanne hot as always, netting a deuce in a 2-1 win at Atlanta. Scored on his fellow countryman Kari Lehtonen twice. He played a strong game and even assisted Niko Kapanen's goal as well :icon14:

yeah, selanne has been on a fucking tear lately... been the biggest point winner on my roster, last few week's he's been putting up goalie numbers.

I watched the colorado v carolina game the other day, and i gotta say... the avs aren't a threat this year, but if sakic can stick it out for two more seasons they may have another cup run in the cards.
All their young players are very impressive. Liles is turning into one hell of a quality scoring defenseman; and i think stastny should probably be considered for rookie of the year.

I thought it was 3 :icon6:

Anyways, had some company over to watch the Leafs-Hawks. Ouch Peca, I hope he recovers soon. Taken to the hospital for x-rays. As for the Leafs, back to blowing chunks in the 3rd it seems. First Smolinski grabs a brutal shortie for the Hawks in the 2nd and then the Leafs completely fuck things up in the 3rd as usual. They deserved to lose, they played disgusting hockey after the 1st intermission. Great pace and lots of physical action made it a superb game overall. Khabibulin was excellent, even poor Aubin kept the Leafs in it.

Looking forward to Caps-Leafs tomorrow :icon14:

Other games, Columbus downed Vancouver and Carolina blasted the Isles.

It's row 3 but there's no row 1 as it's the walkway to the Platinum lounge...
