Nice, that's what I want. Let me know what you think.
has alot better plastic finish than the 350 imho.. doesnt feel so ... well odd.. if it wasn't so damn small i would trade my 30d for it.. but got it instead of the 350d cause of my big hands..and the better feel of the bigger cameras in youre hand..
Yeah, the size is definitely an issue.

Got my 400D today, since this is my first decent camera and I'm a total noob when it comes to photography I guess this camera is more then ok for me. Buying a 30D, even used, never crossed my mind because it will take a long time before I will use the full potential of a 30D or equal.

Also I have small hands, so the size aint an issue, but ofc mounting a big zoom lens on it, makes it small.

I'm gonna get used to this one the first couple of years and if i'm really gonna get serious with photography (and if I have the money for it) I'll be looking into other higher quality cameras.

Well tbh, the 400D just fit into my budget, I'm too noob to spend $1000+ for a camera ;)

Since the wife and I are in DK this year. We're celebrating on new years with my family so I didn't get all my gifts yet :(

We did however get the lamp we wanted... no we just have to figure out how to get a fragile 5 foot tall lamp http://www.tomrossau.dk home on the 8 hour flight without it becoming a $500.00 pile of broken wood :icon34:

Got some good stuff this year worthy of mentioning

Image
The Blue Ant X3 Micro headset - Link
Tiny comfortable earpies that pairs with 3 devices (My phone, my wife's phone and my laptop's VOIP phone. It switches between all 3 devices with the press of 2 buttons. it's light weight, comfy and pretty to look at. It comes with a USB charger, that plugs into the included car adapter and included wall adapter. Which also charges mt cellphone, (normal USB cable needed)

WD Passport 120GIG drive - Link
120 GB of musical goodness for my car stereo, and while I'm at work.

Corsair Flash Voyager 4gig - Link
Was for my car radio, but with the WD I'll need to find another use for it.

360 Quick Charge Kit - Link
No more dead batteries in the middle of GOW nights

Camelback Cloudwalker 70oz - Link
For those long bikeing or hiking trips. Not bad and lots of space for carrying gear without being a huge backpack.

P3 P4400 Kill A Watt - Link
True Nerd gear that allows me to measure wattage and amperage of connected devices and plan my UPS structures better.

Motorola e51 5.8GHz phone set of 3 - Link
Simple small and comfortable cordless phone set that takes my 360 or cell phone headset for hands free. With a bonus.... The Phone book is shared with all connected phones (up to 4) No more entering the same phone number in all phones :)

And last but not least the 5 foot tall ultra delicate lamp my wife fell in love with one year ago... We managed to "carry on" the plane and get home from Denmark in one piece. - Link
