The fact that you keep resorting to gay/wigga flames only shows that you can't defend that hunk of shit ring.MKJ wrote:

FFS man, if his fiance isn't a materialistic twat she'll be fine with it. Its white gold and a diamond with a unique style rather than the cookie-cutter traditional engagement ring.CaseDogg wrote:The fact that you keep resorting to gay/wigga flames only shows that you can't defend that hunk of shit ring.MKJ wrote:

Congrats man.
The ring is cool, just surprising for an engagement ring. But if that's what the lady wants, that's what you should get her.
If, on the other hand, you picked it out yourself without any input, then if she loves it she's probably a great catch. But, if she hates it, you can't really blame her (and probably should let her swap it out with one she likes).
So, have you proposed already, or are you waiting on something?

gefeliciteerd man! Nice ring, I really like the green stone.

She was there when we picked it out. or i should say, I was there when she picked it out
the cookiecutter version of the set is http://www.martinshof.nl/trouwringendetail.asp?ID=216. she doesnt like anything conformist - which probably explains my presence in her life frolf - so hence the customizations: White gold vs yellow gold ('yellow gold is so cliche') and the green diamond vs a clear diamond (much more unique). My input was the matte finish since I don't like shiny jewelry and I'm supposed to wear a matching ring come May
proposal has been done already, it was supposed to be 4 weeks ago but those customizations take time it seems.
we're both atheists btw so its nothing religious. we both also agree we dont *need* a ring or piece of paper to declare our commitment to eachother.. so its mostly practical - taxpurposes (we own 2 houses) and saves filling out a form of recognition in the case of any children
i know, not as romantic but still, it seems to work for us

see, I tried to tell ALL you motherfuckers a long time ago: Dutchies know how to shine when it comes to spitting game at the big-chested and small-wristed. A greater truth, man has never known.
