it would be fun to play that one again with new Graphics.
Darkseed maybe? To be honest, the visual style was all that this game had going for it. Gameplay-wise, it was terrible.

It was revamped 2 or 3 years ago, less pixelated. I replayed it, it's a fantastic game, and VERY difficult in places.
They don't make em like that anymore.

It was. Flashback and Another World are the only games I think I ever replayed, they're that good.

I'd love to see 'Fade To Black' remade as well.

Ah but you see, the remake would fulfill that potential. ;)
It certainly wasn't as successful as it's prequel flashback, but was still good fun to play.

Some good suggestions there, Drum.

Fun fact: there actually is a sequel to Flashback/Fade To Black, called Flashback Legends. Delphine folded before it was released but there is a leaked GBA ROM available on the Interwebz. Caveat emptor though, it has some bugs and I think it's only available in French. =)

Have Sin, Rise of the Triad, Heretic, and Hexen been mentioned yet?

I love Quake just the way it is thank you Underpants? :)
I think you'll find it's that way with most legacy id games though. Generally, the engines are so scalable and modable, the community usually does a pretty good job of "re-making" them as time goes on.

Quake 1 + 2 are still good, though saying that the gameplay of Quake 2 doesn't really hold up too much.

I would like a PS3 version of Shadow of the Colossus

Indeed - HD versions of it but I doubt it will be using all of the PS3 power ;)

Sure, but from what I hear, Shadow of the Colossus lagged somewhat on the PS2, struggling to maintain a solid framerate. I'm guessing that won't be an issue on the PS3.
That said, I'd imagine that if any of the original developers are involved with the port, they'd be tempted to add some graphical flair.
But a rock-solid 1080p60 would be enough for me :)

Always kicked myself for not tracking down Shadow of the Colossus, so I'm really looking forward to its HD version. Ico was sublime, of course.
