I spend about 6 hours in this last night, and damn I'm hooked. I just got my single player map and all my items on my multiplayer server so I can get some friends in for some good time wasting...

Because it's just one guy making it (and a programmer at that).

it you make something really cool then create a warp point to it. syntax is "/createwarp warp_name" you can list warps with "/listwarps". I plan to bring the server down tomorrow morning because silicon wants to put his computer onto the map.

no dude. The first night of minecraft for me (my 36 hour spree) I checked the forums and was like "fuck there's some obsidian missing here" for a brief second when I saw the darker sections of the forum against the brighter sections.
The clothing on the ground looked like a top down view of terrain for a brief moment as well.

either my connection is fucked or silicone milk crashed the server while dupping items
hopefully there's a backup intact. good stuff happening.

I was wondering where you went Stu.
Server's been fine on my side. Must be your connection.
(btw if you're wondering I discovered a glitch to dup items by logging on twice with two different clients).
I'm working on a pirate island right now that has a large chest per valuable resource (diamond block, gold block, iron block, gunpowder, mossy cobblestone, etc...)
I have plans for a gold coated mountain as well

since it's now possible to cheat anyway, i enabled item command. spawn any item
/item item_number quantity

You can actually fix the glitch that dups items. In server.properties I believe there's an entry called 'max-connections' and it's default setting is 3. This is how many connections each client can make to the server.
Set it to 1.
Also, since /item is now a command, be sure to warn others not to place any adminium on the server (bedrock). Once it's placed it can't be removed without an external editor (no, not even by an admin).
