Funny how pictures get painted.
I practice strict gun safety and security. I've educated my family on the proper use of firearms. I've never used my firearms to kill anything, nor do I plan to. I'm all for more required education for perspective gun owners. I would also be in favor of required testing/licensing to own any type of fire arm. But somehow people still label me a "gun nut". LOL!!!
America is different than where you live. We have a different culture and respect for firearms. Never mind it's one of our constitutional rights. And before you criticize, consider how far and fast America has come. No, we're not perfect. However, we are still learning. But it's going to be a long time/never that you will disarm American citizens. That being said, it should be easy to understand that "banning" firearms isn't a reasonable solution. Mandatory education and licensing is the only conceivable path to a reasonable outcome. Though true "gun nuts" would call me a commie for saying that.
