No, because the deaths and injuries that come as a result pale in direct comparison of ownership and use of guns.

So what is the death/injury ratio that is unacceptable for things that weren't initially designed to kill?

Because your current lack of opinion and judgment leave a lot of things "not designed to kill" open to be banned.
