You should see what happens in mexico if you refuse to cooperate the first time. Or better yet try south africa.
or something like that.
Ha I love it

Every other country:

Oh btw here is the full video of the arrests for closing this thread once and forever:
Like I said, I never strongely dissagreed about the use of the taser in this video, because I (or anyone else who watched the video for that matter) because we lack the the live experience of the situation (if that makes sence) and we only see one angle. Now that you will find out more about it. I understand the cops position.
And I'm not cop hater FFS.

WTF does gender have to do with anything. A woman could kill you just as easily as a man. There's a simple appraoch to this situation. If she's stupid enough to resist, she's stupid enough to pull a trigger. There's no time for guessing when you're faced with that type of person.Jackal wrote:He TAZORED the lady! For Christ's sake, when did something like that become "perfectly reasonable given the situation"?
I watched the entire clip(s) which wasn't provided before. Their use of force was excessive for the situation. They should have had more patience.mjrpes wrote:I missed the part where the woman followed the cop's clear and precise orders that she would be tazered unless she immediately exited the vehicle.rep wrote:I missed the part where the woman did something worthy of such a takedown.mjrpes wrote: I missed the part where the cops didn't abide by the law.
People get tasered for a suspended license? Where's my Ice T CD?

yea, she was just tasered for having a suspended license. that was it, no provocation, no nothing. she did everything as she should have. poor lady.
the cop asked her twice to put the phone down and get out of the car,
he opened the door and by the sounds of it,(she saying, get off me,dont touch me) he tried to manhandle her out, he then tells her 4 times to get out of the car or he will tazer her, she still refuses.
so.... 6 times she was told to get out of the car, and she chose to ignore him...
got what she deserved imho

They'd probably handle the situation by talking and talking until the lady exits the vehicle. And the lady would give them zero respect (because you've never seen an authority figure with so little authority as a dutch cop) and they'd shrug it off and fine her.mjrpes wrote: You have to admit that something like this would never happen in your country. Go quote someone else if you're gonna argue with the people thinking that she deserved it. I don't share that opinion.

Just a few of those in there for good measure, so I can be cool like you.
That's what I get for taking the middle ground. Why don't you bitch to GONNA or somebody.

oh, so when I'm amazed by the attitude of replies of some people I'm taking the moral high road? I'm glad that I'm still sensitive for cop-related violence, I'm glad that I don't live in South-Africa or Colombia where the cops also have to take extreme cautions and measures in their daily routines.tnf wrote:
Was it funny? Maybe not completely (although for people in this forum to take the moral high road about the appropriateness of things that are laughed at is pretty astonishing...).
And yea, it's only use folks in the USA that seem to be insensitive to violence on these forums. The threads from all other parts of the world are always so much more appropriate and considerate of the feelings of all parties involved. We are just hardened like that.
Now I have to read the rest of this thread before posting more comments.

lol, let me taser me you in your kidneys and see how you react, tough man :icon26:tnf wrote:Plus, I am pretty sure a lot of that screaming was just her excessive nature anyhow. That lady would have put on a show with screaming and moaning if they had done nothing but gently put her in handcuffs. Granted, she was probably not feeling too hot, and I think the initial screaming was definitely the result of pain (and probably of surprise and shock - pun intended) but the way she kept carrying on made me think of a 2 year old that really has no reason to cry, but is going to do their damndest to keep trying. Or perhaps she's just loud naturally.
(I had to reply to this one)
lol.....Dutch cops would have talked her to sleep/death. They wouldn't have pulled out their sticks/tazers after asking her a few times. Of course she should have listened, but the reaction of cops is of a pre-emptive paranoid nature. And probably needed in your country, apparently from what I've been reading in this thread and have seen in Hollywood movies and Police-chase-TV-series. :icon26:mjrpes wrote:You have to admit that something like this would never happen in your country.
