I've played everything listed in this thread so far except for panzer dragoon saga

and after some more thought, I have come to the conclusion that I was right the first time... lunar: silver star story complete is the best rpg ever in the universe bar none

Yeah I did. I liked it, although there was just a little too much dialogue for my liking. I like a good story but I also like to just 'get on with it' and not scroll though pages of chat.

Yea, there was a lot of dialogue...it felt like playing very detailed novel...but good nonetheless.

It's worth playing if you can get hold of a copy, it has a great battle system. It's pretty rare now supposidly, infact it wasn't even sold in a lot of games shops when it was released. I picked mine up in Woolworths of all places.

I'm not talking about the shoot em up ones, ie Panzer Dragoon and Panzer Dragoon zwei (same franchise though), Andromeda did an RPG called Panzer Dragoon Saga.
