The hurricane is actually tracking more to the west now. And the nuclear plants are built to withstand a direct impact from full size passenger jets.

Those are also bullshit scare models. By the time Irma gets to the St Lucie Plant area it's only going to have wind speeds of 105 mph. When it exits FL they'll be around 60 MPH.

The storm is now directly west of us on the opposite side of the state. We are fortunate to have had no damage or lost power yet. We are on a local emergency care center and fire departments power grid. So they work to get those back on quick. However, this storm has slowed down greatly and is causing flooding everywhere.
