I've stated that I have an interest in guns as a hobby and because the law allows and I own a gun, I carry it. Maybe some day my gun will prove it's purpose, but I highly doubt it. Now either that's not a "vaild" answer or it doesn't feed into your fearful beliefs. I'm betting on the latter.
