yeesh the default textures are nasty
also i built another cart track from top of steps near entry gate of my castle down to the ravine/abandoned mine complex below. sure you can just fly down there, but this is almost as quick and less bumpy/fiddly

Oh yeah, the OCD that is minecraft led to me reorganizing all the minecraft www stuff on the server, breaking links. Everything is updated there on the homepage.
I re-ran the www map for the q3w original map, as the quality has improved since last.

just tried the airship mod in SSP. controls are a bit derpy but otherwise it's pretty good, and better than getting around by boat

on further testing, the controls are actually kind of ok, except for elevation (it's impossible to keep it level). recommended mod

this is supposed to go out of beta on 18 nov to coincide with minecon in vegas. odds on all these 1.9 pre-releases will magically be rolled up into 1.10 full release then
