However, my sources inform me that you've seen this movie in the past. I hope that you saw it again recently, since this thread is only about the MOST RECENT MOVIE YOU SAW.
I'M IN COMPLIANCE DAMN YOU! Just bought the DVD tonight and watched it again. In fact, I went Coen apeshit and bought DVD's of all my favorites (Blood Simple, Fargo, Barton Fink, Raising Arizona).

King Kong 7/10

pretty nice. It would have been better if Adrien Brody had been eaten by a bat before he could save her. Then she would have stayed there, the others would have left, Jack Black would have gone to prison => Happy end.

The entire ending (starting back in New York) kind of sucked. Jack Black does some more bad acting, you know exactly what's going to happen, everything felt like "Yeah we had fun in the jungle, we're just doing this city bit because we have to."

The Transporter 2 (7/10)

Jason Statham is the man. Awesome car chases in the A8. Some far fetched manuvers...but enjoyable none the less.

Chronicles of Narnia: The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe - 9/10

This movie was truly excellent and I can't wait for the next one.

Underworld. Somewhere south of 5/10. The clingons in my pants have better entertainment value.

It was apparent from the soundtrack, the fight scenes and seeing the same cheap sets over and over again that this movie would lick balls...because it does in fact lick balls. Then it'll make you eat their shit...then shit out their shit and then eat your shit which is made out of their shit that they made you eat.

However...Kate Beckinsdale is the bomb, Bill Nighy had some over the top intensity to him and overall the movie had a polished look with terrific lighting in some of the sets.

I recommend that you only watch the scenes where Kate Beckinsdale walks around in that black body suit. Otherwise flush it.

Watched The Deer Hunter after someone mentioned it in this thread, 7/10.

Doom, they should have maintained the original story. But as far as the actual movie, it wasn’t all that bad and I guess could be some what enjoyable for a basic action flick, the first person view was sort of cool. 5.5/10

Havoc, not all that good, Ebert lied, 6/10.

The 40 Year Old Virgin, not a bad movie but not all that great. 7/10.
