It's a hot mess of a movie. If you overlook the unlikable characters, terrible lex-luthor/joker, and plot holes, then you still have the orange-brown meaningless mess of noise that is the climax of the film.

The Fifth Element (1997)

I haven't seen this in years and thought I'd catch it again on the TV. Luckily I recorded and was able to jump through those advertisements. It was nice to see again as I note it is approaching 20 years old still enjoyable though and Bruce Willis looksso young (born 1955).

Watched last night. I found it a little hard going in the first hour but was delighted as the stories unfolded. I will watch again for sure. Watch this 8/10

War Horse (2011)

First time I have seen this awesome movie and I just read it was directed by Steven Spielberg.

The story of a young farm boy and his horse in World War 1.

Pretty good in all aspects and I don't rate highly easily so watch it if you're given the chance

Yeah that's a great movie, enjoyed every minute of it.

Yes the alien contact movie starring Jodie Foster & Matthew McConaughey.

Didn't like it nearly as much as you lot apparently, browsed back a bit and am quite surprised at the high praise in this thread. Because it's simply not a very good film is it? An endless stream of dick jokes, really? An X men cameo? How dreary. The waverthin plot spelled out in the intro bit? How edgy.

I agree. No idea what the fuss was about with Deadpool. The fact it was advertised with emojis was enough to raise a warning flag and the film confirmed said flag. Maybe I'm just getting old. I guess it's one for the Scott Pilgrim fans; this new wave of 'cool geeks' that just confuse and disorient me.

I can't judge Deadpool because I haven't seen it, but the trailers were enough to deter me from watching it. Ryoki pretty much confirmed my suspicion that it is little more than penis and poo jokes which, for some reason, people suddenly find hilarious.

Penis and poo jokes have always been funny.

Last night i watched Blade Runner the first time in my life. The Music in this Movie is awesome!
But i cant believe that Blade Runner is a IMDB-8.2 and The Terminator just a 8.1

Blade Runner is a terribly long sit nowadays. The movie is so incredibly slow and vague at times.

The whole aestethic and design of everything is absolutely awesome though.

Star Wars: Force Awakens - 8/10 - on a par with the original trilogy imho, even though the plot was basically lifted from New Hope. good pace, nice mesh with the movie 'lore'

minus points for Adam Driver though, i just can't take him seriously

Bourne Legacy - 6/10 - nice setup, well-executed in trademark Bourne style, but the abrupt ending spoiled it

Edge of Tomorrow is a cracking little action flick. Caught me be by surprise that one.
