I read about the reshoot and how much it shows in the movie. I also just read about the Joker being cut or something? Pls elaborate.

Apparently the Joker had a back story that involved the prison guard at the beginning which was taunting the inmates. He was meant to have a gambling addiction and Joker uses this to get in contact with Harley. In the movie he has no influence on the plot what so ever.
All we're left with seeing is Harley (not major spoilers)
pulling her phone out her sleeve in front of like 50 guards (in prison) and then her saying "you're so fucked" to Jokers patsy guard with him going "what do you mean !, WHAT DO YOU MEAN !?". wtf did she mean ?, there's a scene that tries tying it together but it really doesn't work without knowing the original story.
That's one example tho, another is (Bigger spoiler ?)
Joker pushes Harley out the plane in the movie to look like he was saving her, when in the original shoot he was actually pushing her out to save himself
I gotta double check the facts about that one ^
My main complaint comes from the way the film is put together as its pacing is all over the place though, it'll be the 1st thing you notice when you see it with the double intro and 5 different songs.
Have you seen it ?, can't really talk too much without heavy spoilers.

The production companies and studio heads should stay out of the way and let the director and talent do their thing...

I'll see if I can dig up some links later but have a Google with stuff like Suicide Squad Editing Problems and you can get a pretty good idea from the 1st couple of links.
There's also a > suggestion < that Hollywood are recruiting a lot of no name / newish directors to force their own vision for the film production n all.
WBs films have been plagued with this shit for years. "Make superman darker" cos it worked in Batman... "Make Suicide Squad more funny" cos it worked in Deadpool...

The Zero Theorem - 7/10
Great visuals. It was funny but sometimes felt eager to seem clever which ruins funny for me. The philosophical stuff might make me want to re-watch it. Felt like nothing was happening a lot of the time, the love interest seemed a necessary crutch to the story. Still, I liked a lot of it.

ID2 done better than a 6, 6 is like bog standard.
It's just more of a Stargate than Star Trek.
I loved the end - 'you can lead our fight against the system lords'
DO IT !, create a spin off series lasting 10 yrs

, with another 2 spin off series and 3 films
This is why shit sci fi died (cliched characters / wild plots), everyone went up their own arse thinking Interstellar is a cerebral film cos they managed to represent a singularity by using a library. I still can't get over the 'love will conquer all' shite.
Here's another future failure

I'd give them both a pair of 7's tbh which I consider above average, 6 is avg and anything underneath is riskeh. Takes a lot of effort to get into the 8's, you're in Matrix territory now.
They're practically the same film, minus a Will Smith and a few more volts to the balls.

Sully (2016)
I am surprised this movie hasn't been mentioned here as yet
Yes, that Tom Hanks movie of a plane landing in the Hudson.
The story of Chesley Sullenberger, who became a hero after gliding his plane along the water in the Hudson River, saving all of the airplane flights 155 crew and passengers.
IMDB
A thoroughly enjoyable movie and one to watch 8/10.

Still one of my fave zombie flicks. Sharp, funny, stupid, gory, fun. Also explosions. 9/11.
It gets so much hate because remake. It's pretty great though.
As much as I love and hate Savini, the original is just dated. It looks terrible on modern standards.

ARQ - 8/10
Pleasantly surprised by this (i think) low budget scifi thing i found on Netflix; thought it'd be one of those really bad films you sort of enjoy until about half way but instead it was actually rather good.
Timeloopy groundhog day sort of movie

Dawn of the Dead (Original); all cuts in BD quality, whoever may want that:
amazon.it
Plus
4K.
I don't see a reason why. Fake blood becomes even more fake with better resolution. It's a cheap deal though.
