Hey drum, another question for you.

Why did you tell everyone your parents had died in hitlers death camps?

Was it for sympathy or just a bad joke that failed when you realized that would make you at least 65?

Duumbrain has hit a new level of upsetness in this thread. He'll lock it out of bitterness soon enough. :olo:

Yes but if I wanted to sell it tomorrow, take away agent fees and whatnot, it would put near on £250,000 into my bank account.
And you'd be homeless, Drum, with £50,000 under the current average house price for Central London. Take off the fees and you'd probably have just enough to get a 60% mortgage on a decent 3 bed.

You think I'd need a mortgage to make up the difference for a £300K house? Laff. As a matter of fact, I checked some property sites and I'm quite surprised myself at just how many 3 bedroom houses near to me are not only at £300K, but even under that price. They're still good areas to live in. I even found a 5 bedroom house at £312K. All in good condition. Also, I checked about flats in my area and estimates vary between £254 and £299K. I reckon I should get an agent in to give me a current valuation.
