i was thinking the exact same thing! still takes a second next to Eau Rouge of course....Sevensins wrote:+JuggerNaut+ wrote: nice one, Felipe! i love that track, which is now one of my faves to watch. that 8th corner with no less than 4 apexes at 150ish MPH is just awesome.
I loved the in car view through this corner. I can't wait to run it in the F1 game...

Considering Kimi was driving a damaged car, he put on a pretty spectacular performance.Nightshade wrote:And you practically faint when puts on his helmet. He's boring as shit, and he couldn't catch Hamilton.
I don't follow F1 as much as I'd like to, but I'm mostly proud that he's carrying on Hakkinen's legacy. I don't get how he's boring though. He's an amazing driver and he wins races, just like your hero Schumi did

Oh puhleeze, it was so badly damaged he didn't want to take the extra 4 seconds in a scheduled pit stop to change the nose? If he was such a superman he could have easily made that up, especially since the Ferraris were both 2 to 3 mph faster on the straights than the McLarens.Captain Mazda wrote:Considering Kimi was driving a damaged car, he put on a pretty spectacular performance.Nightshade wrote:And you practically faint when puts on his helmet. Kimi's a great driver, I just think he's boring as hell and over-rated. We need another James Hunt, goddamnit.

He did. He has the reputation of being the biggest playboy party animal that F1's ever seen. Steve Matchett said that he saw Hunt in the airport once after a race. Heading to his plane wearing naught but a pair of shorts.Deathshroud wrote:

WOOHOOO!!! GG Felipe! Stole it from Quimmy at the last second! Too bad Nico couldn't get more out of the car, race fuel load obviously made a big difference. The strong chance of rain ought to make for an interesting race tomorrow.
Re: so... the circus is back in town *2008 F1 Thread*
It's virtually impossible to take over in Monaco, even more than in "normal" circuits. Still Monaco is intriguing, probably due to history and setting.
