Seeing Walter on the back foot, desperate and pushed into a corner.... shit is most certainly about to get real.
I really think that Aaron Paul (Jesse) is a far better actor. Well, either that or the writing for Jesse is just much stronger than for Walt this season. Walt's really starting to piss me off, half the problems that have occurred on the show are due to him shooting his mouth off or being a paranoid retard.
I really like the way Jesse's character has developed and the tables have turned. Now he's the one keeping Walt alive even though he hates him.
And Gus? Gus is a stone-cold fucking badass.

Re: Breaking Bad
anyone else reckon that Hank's already onto Walt?
He's a smart man, and there are plenty of clues.

Re: Breaking Bad
i doubt it. It's one thing being "on to" him and quite another having the balls to parade around with him and making his investigation on them apparent, well knowing that "they" including Walt could take him out at any point.
First part, takes smarts... the second part takes balls, and a tremendous level of arrogance and confidence. I think he does not posses the later to any noteworthy degree...if it ends up that you are correct, the continuity of the character would be greatly challenged.

Re: Breaking Bad
Hank doesn't have big balls?? wtf show have you been watching? Remember him taking out keith jardine & co without his weapon, or how he nailed tuco, or how he took care of the two mexican brothers?
Re: Breaking Bad
ah, yes. I still feel that it would seem too much of a 007 thing to do. You know, assuming that his brother in law won't choose to make him disappear. After all, he knows what "these people" are capable off.

Re: Breaking Bad
I think he's had a strong hunch for a while, and has been running experiments with Walt to see how he reacts. This last laundromat "test" gave the game away for sure.
Re: Breaking Bad
Walt being a retard gets himself into the shit again. Show is amazing. Fuck off Dexter.
I love quake!

Re: Breaking Bad
I suspect Hank will either be the hero at the end of the series or he'll be killed off at the conclusion of this season.

Maybe now that he's completely at rock bottom he'll start doing brilliant things to get back in control. Hope so, this Walt is not so much fun.
Also, yes i too think Hank is on to Walt. It'll end up with Walt killing him fo sho

Re: Breaking Bad
Holy shit what a tense episode. Did gus deliberately poison the kid as the "measured response", or could it have been the kid just wanted to smoke and picked the wrong one?

Re: Breaking Bad
I initially thought the latter, but switched to the former by the end. Either way, don't expect any more slow-paced episodes. It's war.feedback wrote:Holy shit what a tense episode. Re: Breaking Bad
iirc walter put the rizin powder in a small glass ampul. So the kid couldn't simply smoke it by accident. Can you get an (lethal) effect from smoking rizin anyway?

Re: Breaking Bad
Good call!
And what an ending. The final season seems like it would have to be Hank versus Walt.

Re: Breaking Bad
lol and it was pretty convincing cgi/ layering /whatever. this episode owned on so many big and subtle levels, it pretty much made up for all the stagnant episodes of the season.
Re: Breaking Bad
Even as a zombie, Gus is a badass.
Amazing episode, perfect season finale as usual. Sets the final season up for the inevitable walt/hank showdown. Still the best series on TV.
