Fucking hell, I started watching season 7, thinking this was really the last season.
Not a bad season, certainly better than the 2 seasons before, but now I see an 8th season is in the making?
Really, I´d prefer them to just leave things how they are left right now.
No need for "closure", just leave it open ended, you shitfucks.

You must be furious there's going to be two more seasons then.

weak. they should end it, there's not a whole lot more they can do with the current situation other than drag it out.

michael c hall is one of the exec producers btw and i have a feeling that if he says it's over, it most likely is.

I'd be happy for another two seasons, I'm still really enjoying it. Just rewatched seasons 1 and 2.

They probably could have wrapped it up fairly easily this season. But they really need another season or two with the way they left it...

If they focus on resolution the whole time, they can do it in one season. They will have to, because it won't be Dexter without Michael C. Hall, and he's out after the next season.

Season 9, Harrison grows up enough and starts killing local neighbourhood pets and other small animals. Complete with the plastic wrap kill room and all.

And to make finding targets easier, he becomes a dog catcher. :olo:

Hehe, LawL doesn't understand the concepts "quit while you're ahead" and "too much of a good thing".
Probably anticipating some more Dokes wank material.

It's very unlikely that there will be a ninth season. The idea shouldn't be entertained as if it were the kind of "insider rumor" that typically turns out to be true; there is only some loose language from the showrunner indicating that a ninth season is a possibility in spite of the fact that they're planning the eight season to be the last.
This line only remake is total rubbish I've ever seen!!! Fuck off!!! --CZghost

Looks like Plan Butthurt doesn't understand the extremely advanced concept of "continuing to watch something you enjoy".

Serious question: is the actor that plays Quinn sick with cancer? He looks skinnier and more shriveled every season.
