rotts=stellar
I have to say, based on temperament, intelligence, training ability and just about every category I can think of, I couldn't possibly be happier with my choice to get one.
A recurring ear infection is really the only negative thing that we have to deal with now that he's no longer a puppy. Honestly, the worst part about having a well-raised rotty is the people who have misconceptions about them. Because the last 2 years 9 months have convinced me that they are misconceptions.
They're definitely a strong-willed breed though, and not good pets for people who don't want to invest serious time into raising a dog.

I have a wife who also helps with chores around the house. It's a fairly standard arrangement, you might have heard people talk about it.
What's with the 3rd degree over my dog's poo here?
Is there anything else you'd like to know - maybe more details on its color or texture, or perhaps its heft, to help you determine its suitability for flinging or smearing on your bathroom walls?

big yard = less frequent pickups. we have friends with a small yard and two labs, and that's a nightmare. the big yard makes a big difference.
i honestly didn't think that much detail was required. we live in a subdivision, we'd be reviled if we didn't pick up after our dog.
