Re: The last movie you saw
I was looking at Kung Fu Hustle last night considering watching it on Netflix but didn't have the energy in me for a full movie. I need to rewatch it again; I've forgotten pretty much everything about the film.xer0s wrote:Watched Kung Fu Hustle again last night. Always did like this film. Hilarious. The comedic timing can be felt even while reading sub-titles. Fun movie...
Re: The last movie you saw
Watched Upgrade. I skipped over it a few times cause the acting seemed kinda meh but it was actually a really fun watch, highly recommend it.
Re: The last movie you saw
Rainy afternoon here so I caught up on a couple of classics
The Dirty Dozen (1967)
and
Zulu (1964)

Currently watching Dark on Netflix and The Boys on Prime...
Re: The last movie you saw
Dark is fantastic, they should have ended it on Season 2 though.
Re: The last movie you saw
Just realized this is the movie thread and not the currently watching thread. Fuck it...

Tenet
Not bad. Typical Nolan-Timewarp-stuff. Look closer and the bubble bursts.
It has pretty setpieces.

Oblivion (2013)
Haven't seen it for years and thoroughly enjoyed. Morgan Freeman
See it again!
I found the text of that book, Lays of Ancient Rome by Thomas Macaulay here
IMDB
Edit: The piece where he meets his clone
Edit: Then the Whiter Shade of Pale tune by Procol Harum

The Gentlemen - 7/10
Guy Richie gangsta style film in the vein of Snatch and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels.
Solid fun with some good giggles. Colin Farrell is very amusing in it.

The Shirkers. Interesting flick.
Re: The last movie you saw
V for Vendetta. I'd watched it before in theaters. It's so strangely apt for today's political theater and jesus christ Natalie Portman is hot.
Re: The last movie you saw
V for Vendetta, now there's one that is on my list and I will soon.
Re: The last movie you saw, I watched John Carter (2012) yesterday and it is still a good watch
