I don't see why you couldn't ignore him yourself... Why do you need a collective to shun someone? Seems kind of petty, a lot of that goes around here though.xer0s wrote:What if we all collectively ignored Gramps? We could go as far as to add him to our "Foes" list. Anyone game?

Because my point is, Gramps loves the attention (I realize I'm giving him a lot just by posting this). And if it was just me that ignored him, he'd still have all you other schlubs giving it to him...Κracus wrote:I don't see why you couldn't ignore him yourself... QueOs is just upset that I he's on my ignore list. Funny thing is, he knows that and continues his futile attempts to engage me.Κracus wrote:I don't see why you couldn't ignore him yourself... You want to make a physical 3D model then scan it to make it animated on a computer? Don't those scanners exist already?phantasmagoria wrote:Got a month or so off work - Arduino starter kit came today. Gonna work my way through a few of the starter projects before I tackle my main endeavour .. a photogrammetry based 3D scanner, for which I think I'll have no other option than to buy a Canon 5DS and a fuck off macro lens. Needs must and all that.
Yeah, we have one at work - it's a FARO arm which uses a laser on an arm to scan in pointcloud data of static objects.ToxicBug wrote:You want to make a physical 3D model then scan it to make it animated on a computer? cool i like your pedal passion!Ferrao10 wrote:
Great pedal. You can't go wrong with it. Whatever crunch you want, it delivers.
Haven't found a flaw yet.
Also the RV-6. A very good reverb-simulator, imo. Digital unit, features that en vogue "shimmer" effect if that's your thing. It's not really good with the classic reverberation-sims like plate, spring, hall but shines on modulate and dynamic mode.
And as a blast from the past: my flanger-unit, Boss BF-2 broke down recently, it was my fault. Got a used one from ebay for 30€.
Are the newer models any better?
You can't beat Boss for what they do but other great pedals are:
Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler
Fulltone Deja Vibe
Way Huge Supa-Puss
Dunlop Crybaby
Many thanks Plained!plained wrote:http://www.effectsdatabase.com/model/arion/sfl1#
should be able to snag one for under 40 tho.
truth be told you would not be disappointed with any of the old japan arion pedals, they are incredible, the construction is top notch(real parts mounted through a real board.
