He was too far away to try and make that pass - simple as. over 2 car lengths away. In the dry he might have gotten away with it but it was not dry and he did not get away with it. Sutil is left with a bitter taste and I hope he drives into Kimi on the deciding championship race

Looked to me like he was trying to late brake and steal a few cheeky miliseconds so he could have him on the exit...?
At least that is what i would have done as a driver...and we all know I am correct 100% of the time without question.

he was way too far back to think about a pass. trying to shave time? sure, but no pass. he just plain braked way too late and lost it.

Kimi lost it the exact same way Aged Fooltard did, just over the top of the hill out of the tunnel. Not really his fault and he held it better the Fooltard did (I still laughed my ass off), but poor Sutil. He was a mess in the garage, unlucky bastard.
Well played by Lewis and Mclaren, hate to see Massa give it up, but worse mistakes have been made by better drivers at Monaco (Senna, anybody?). I was very impressed by the lead Hamilton pulled out, looks like he's maturing a bit which is just what he needed to boost his championship hopes.
Rosberg was taken to the hospital after that nasty crash, his race had gone horribly pear-shaped anyways.
I wish Massa had won it, but at least Raikkonnen finished out of the points, and this type of lead changing and competitive racing is exactly what I'd hoped for this season. On to Canada!

looks like lots of opportunity for passing.
also if their virtual lap is to be trusted... it looks nothing like a traditional street circuit. Shit, it's got run-off areas.

oh, juggz, you said you're a big ITV fan.
I found an excellent place to get torrents from if you want it.
I missed monaco on speed and picked both quali and the race within a few hours of their completion @ > 400KB/s speeds.
way faster posting and seeding than sifting through search engines trying to find a public tracker.
they also put up the GP2, WRC, BTCC, WTCC, BestMotoring, TopGear etc...
being a dodgey subject should probably PM for a url.

to even wait around for a vote of confidence is retarded beyond belief.

no shit.. talking to the old man who likes german bondage parties creeps people out?http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns20415.html
"The big problem is that he can no longer represent the FIA worldwide because of these incidents. The general feeling is that people would no longer be comfortable speaking to him in the same way. I have spoken to Max about this and advised him to stand down in November and not to go to the vote next Tuesday."

in other news...
Raikkonen is a bit of a goofball.
Raikkonen is a bit of a goofball.
http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns20416.html
Raikkonen relates particularly to James Hunt and from time to time has been known to compete in events using James Hunt as his pseudonym. This is reported to have happened twice last year in a snowmobile race in Finland and later in a powerboat race in Hanko (in which "James Hunt" appeared wearing a gorilla costume). When asked about it, Kimi said "Was it really me? You don't know."
