Well, Holland are guaranteed of an 8th finals place. They're also only one out of 2 teams who have 6 points out of 2 matches so far (Argentina are the others). Not bad I guess.

Hmm, the Italian result has direct influence on Holland's 8th finals opponent. Dunno if I prefer Italy or Paraguay.

Kaka gets red carded after an IC player runs into him and falls down... fucking ridiculous.

edit: it was Kadar Keita. He deserves a lot of bad karma for that stunt. Utter nonsense, the red should be overturned.

good stuff from brazil. got silly at the end, and luis fabiano blatant handball x 2 on his 2nd goal, but wtf - awesome game

Brazil are a disgrace - the only reason that Keita has done that is because all through the match Brazil were doing the exact same thing. They are a horrible team devoid of any sporting etiquette.

I do not in any way think that diving is good but it was nice to see Brazil get a taste of their own medicine.

FU Brazil. FU in the nose.

i figure the call against kaka made up for the blatant double-handball that fabiano got away with. i could see missing that once, but twice? you'd think the official was from Mali.

edit: that said, Keita should get a match suspension for that bullshit

diving is really a big issue for soccer. it really turns a lot of people away from the game seeing such bad sportsmanship...

no wonder ppl think soccer is for pussies lol

it does turn away people and diving is pretty horrible. i dont think it really turns "a lot" of people away though. that amount is negligible.

The red card against Kaka was a grave error on the ref's side. It didn't make up for anything. As for diving, the Italians are far worse for this than the Brazilians to be honest.

Despite the second goal being hands, it was a beauty to look at.

That'll be because most people that like the game hate the diving twats, and hence you see a lot of complaining about it.

I don't understand why they don't turn off the urge to dive when the game is recorded and viewed by millions.

Seriously, that .gif is some shameful shit.
