Not specifically for Rage (because all signs point to it being optimised for the current console generation), but I've bought a new PC which should be arriving tomorrow, because we're finally beginning to see some games that justify the purchase of new hardware.

I pre-ordered a retail copy of the game but unfortunately, you can't pre-load unless you bought the game through Steam.

I don't want to drive cars with mouse & keyboard and I don't want to play a FPS with a joypad. So what's in Rage for me? What's the multiplayer going to be like? Is that going to always have vehicles in it?

Nothing. There's nothing in this game for you. Don't buy it.

Yes, DTS. There is no deathmatch. Competitively, it's all vehicle-based, but I am not sure if it's Twisted Metal style or just racing or some combination.

However, there is co-op, and it's a completely separate campaign from the single-player game, so it is built from the ground up with co-op in mind. Pretty cool.

The game is also going to have mod development kits, so there might be a DM mode some day.

Shame.

Did you not read my post, or is that way of saying you'd rather have a co-op campaign inside the single player game, instead of a separate co-op campaign?

I had to do some SERIOUS disk cleanup to allow space to preload RAGE on my SSD (cos these megatextures need a manly drive innit), but I deed it. Oh and still have 7gb spare, for the inevitable patches to come. Scared?

I dunno why they didn't show these recent trailers first. The game looks 100x better than it did before. Amazing level design, art direction and the tech 5 engine is just lovely. Looks like it's gonna be a blast.

The original song is "Pet" from their Thirteen Step album but the commercial features a chopped up version of the remix from the eMOTIVE album, "Counting bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums".
