Trade in my old phone for £200+ which will cover the cost of buying the 5 and keeping my contract the same

Oh. I guess I just didn't know anyone would want to buy an old phone for that much...

The instant sale thing on eBay has amazing prices right now. More attractive than bothering with an auction.

I kinda need my phone until I get a new one. Can't really sell it and wait for my iPhone 5 to get here...

And why are they still numbering their phones? I thought it was a great idea dropping the number on the latest iPad. It's going to be a little ridiculous when the iPhone 17 comes out...

i like numbering systems. direct and to the point. But I understand if you're feeling a little bit underhyped. Xer0s wants it to be named "iphown" cause it sounds hip as fuck yo.

No simultaneous data + voice unless you're on AT&T's network.

At 0:55, was that Hulk Hogan's long lost brother?
Oh and they did the exact same thing with the release of the iPhone 4S with a group of editors from some tech blog. They fell for it as well.

Wait, what is the definition of "voice" here? Just a simple phone call? Or are they talking about VOIP? That would be a clear example of why Apple's walled garden approach sucks so hard.

I think that Sprint did the same thing, I couldn't be in the middle of a call and pull up a webpage, IIRC.

Preorder in. Got a guy at work to buy my 4S so I don't even have to mail it out or use a burner.

lol, holy shit this iphone 5 spec sheet seems totally underwhelming, and none would notice if they just pass on it.

not sure what people were expecting? its faster, updated with new network tech and a bigger screen. What compels you to upgrade your pc's ever few years? omg the spec sheet on this faster cpu and gfx is really underwhelming! i wish it came in pink..derp.

not that i would ever buy an iphone, but since their releases are few and far in between, compared to the android market they should be pretty substantial.
Faster processing on a phone just doesn't have the same level of importance as it would on a gaming system for instance.
A bigger screen would be nice, but even there, they kinda half assed it.

Every few years is not every year or every few months.
And if you upgrade your PC every few years you'll essentially double the performance of your old machine. Apple is offering incremental performance improvements...sorta like asking you to buy a new video card to get 7 FPS more...which any rational person would tell you is immensely retarded.

Considering that APPS and GAMES are pretty much the entire point of a smartphone im pretty sure faster processing is a big deal, just like a pc or "gaming system". You sound like a goddamn retard, Tsakali.
