pretty predictable, a bit slow in some bits. since the story revolved alot around "natives", it was nice to see some new faces. acting was pretty well done, but the story came off as almost pretentious in the end. worth a rental when it debuts on dvd, but not much more.
6/10
I've been meaning to check this out. Is the story based on the Yanomamo tribe?

yeah wedding crashers was kind of weak IMO. its has two of the best comedians (vince vaughn, owen wilson) in there including will ferrell and it manages to be lackluster. they should have left the whole love thing out of it.

I've never heard of the tribe it's about. I'm half wondering if it is the story of Napolean Chagnon meeting the Yanomamo tribe. It's one of the most famous anthropological contacts and it took place in the 50s. I suppose I could just check it out myself though.

Just checked, and it isn't.
Too bad, that would make a great movie.
