The Island 7.5/10
I never wanted to see the movie because of the trailer, I might have seen a crappy one because I really had no idea this was such action packed sci-fi movie.
Pretty surpised when I saw it on DVD and very enjoyable in my opinion.
Also I like Scarlett

Mr. and Mrs. [s]Smith[/s] Cunt: 5/10. Yup, the "HEY WE'RE FUCKIN" chemistry is there, unfortunately an interesting storyline is not. So sad.

Actually listening to Die Hard (1988) for at least once a year ever since it came out. I like every movies he makes, even if it's a bit childish.

Amélie
I was going to post something dumb like 11/10, but this movie is 1 of the 2 best movies I've ever seen. I'd say the best, but I'm sure there's another I'm not thinking of...

I'M SPOILERING IN THIS POST ABOUT LORD OF WAR

there's some... rather unspectacular (I don't wanna say boring) parts in the middle, but the AWESOME ending makes up for it.
Nobody has ever been pwned as much as ethan hawke in that movie.
Sometimes a good ending can save an entire movie. Remember "Chronicles of Riddick"? Awful movie, great ending though.

I don't think it was over the top. It was a remarkably good setup for all those people who expected this movie to go like every other movie. "OH NO THEY KILLED HIS BROTHER HE MUST BECOME A GOOD PERSON NOW!" and then Cage just says "Fuck you. My brother was an idealistic jackass who's had it coming."

If you're thinking of Amélie of Montmartre, then yeah, that movie is brilliant.
