Re-reading this whole thread in it's entirety. I think Doomy has a mellower perspective than Daev's bright outlook, and fantastic X seems riveted by shiney things, not taking away an ounce of the brilliance tho'.

Oh wow, that looks great! I've noticed that my scans tend to come out overly green. It's really obvious when you put the original next to the fixed one.

So, what were the big changes you made? Obviously the color correction. Maybe a little sharper and more contrast?

some sharpening. you had some weird oil looking spots that i cleaned up with the clone/healing brush. then there's lotsa color corecting layers masked out over different areas.

Without HDR processing you wouldn't see any details on the rocks because it would be black.

Now that I really like... It has waay too much depth, color and all around beauty to grind through a PS filter

I like both. The original is hanging in my toilet. The PS version is something new I'm playing with.

I miss that 43mm lens the most. It's incredible the sharpness and detail captured by it.

These photos were presented in a museum in italy back in 2004. Just got another email from the coordinator recently, looks like they will continue to do rounds across the country at various museums..

That's great FX. :icon14:

You're masterful at the artistic post-processing. A photographer with a true artist's touch.
