looks like a typical response to a Malick film, so did you like it or not?
I'm not sure if it's possible to like something and hate it at the same time. On one hand, it was a beautiful movie but it really didn't tell much of a story.

Loved Pirates of the Caribbean :lub:
What was the name of that movie with the 4 friends at the winter cabin and the alien disease that was spreading to people and animals? Morgan Freeman was a lunatic CIA dude in it. I think it was based on Hawking's novel, included the boy the friends called "Duddits"?
Anyone remember? I loved that movie, as random as it was

Dreamcatcher?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285531/
Also dealing with disease but more like a flesh eating virus, Cabin Fever was sort of enjoyable. Despite the really bad acting and the bad plot.

Yes! That's what it was called! Darn man, thanks, it completely slipped out of my mind

Saw it. Not bad if you feel like watching a completely random movie once in a while. My friend and I laughed at most scenes, but overall I'd give it a 6.5/10.

just went and saw the matador... again.
fantastic shit.
there's a strong tarantino feel to the film.

is it about eating pussy?
edit: I've never seen it, so "Scent of a Woman" combined with "greatest film speech ever" just brings to mind Al Pacino saying that he got his scar from eating pussy at the beginning of Scarface . . .

Just saw Underworld Evolution.
I don't think they set out with a trilogy in mind, the first one had an acceptable storyline but with this one they were ad-libbing their way through another 100 minutes.
The sets were excellent, the special effects were impressive.
It was worth seeing just to see Cadfael get run through.
The sex scene was absurd and badly out of place. There's a world of difference between guns, latex, tits, vamps, werewolves, and tasteful sensuous sweet loving *chef voice*.
Oh, and absolutely no plot intelligence. With people having random abilities to return from the dead and survive seemingly mortal wounds, then another character keeping over after getting stabbed a little bit, I started to care about the fight scenes about as much as I care about a WWF match.
5/10

EDIT: apparently not, the miniseries disc is the first disc in the season one box
Ok, I got the season one box in the mail today, and guess what? The miniseries is only included in the fucking US season one box, not the European one. So now I have to order the miniseries disc before I can start watching it. Fucking cock-gobblers.
