Wow, that is a really nice pic, almost looks like a framegrab from a movie. Can you give me the full specs on this one please, including the lens and camera you used?

Why does is matter so much to you the EXIF data and gear? What's the point?

Because I want to know how that picture was taken so that I can learn more about photography?

It's Velvia 100, no idea about the specs.. Oh no, I take that back.. It must be Provia 400 given the grain

There you have it...Provia 400. Dave doesn't even know about the specs. Is that going to help you learn about photography, ToxicBug? You don't even shoot film for all I know...so how is this info helpful to you?

ty sir. I sell my sports stuff to parents and print poster sizes for the athletic department, but that's about it.
The other shot I posted is Velvia 100. I just liked it more in B&W. It's a crime to do that to Velvia, but eh...

I do it a lot...Velvia 100-> B&W. But I've decided I miss Tri-X400 enough to put an order in for 10 rolls today.

I tried some lab shots, but they all turned out like shit, so I gave up. :icon33:

Yes this place looks like a perfect setting for a fantasy flick. Now all we need are a few elves running around with their bows and a big ugly monster lunging out from the water trying to eat a hobbit.
