The Believer - thought provoking look at the relationship between Judaism and Nazism
City of God - brilliant
House of Sand and Fog - too realistic, especially if you know people from Iran who emigrated.
Suspect Zero - Another great Ben Kingsley film... geoff would probably dig it

you think a number out of 10 means anything compared to words describing why the film was interesting?

look at numbers this way. You don't give anything a 10 unless it causes you an orgasm. I don't give anything a 10 unless I consider it one of my favorite films. I don't give anything else, so i'd either give something a 10 or a 0. I'm extremely stingy with 10s

I've yet to see one either. I can usually find something to fault it, although I may be a bit generous with the higher scores.
