You can still do it to an extent. If you adjust the exposure in photoshop (image > adjustments > exposure) and save two additional versions of the image, one with +1.5 and one with -1.5 exposures (or even +2 and -2, experiment) you can still generate HDR using Photomatrix. Phoenix, that would seem to have similar results compared to using Shadow/Highlights in PS.

One from today. Those big hills are actually burial mounds not gigantic titties. They have been here since the Silla era....between the fifth and sixth centuries AD. One tomb for each ruler and royal member from that era.
