take a look at the page where I got my wallpaper. The photo is made for a project that captures scenes throughout the States with a large format camera. Incredible detail.MKJ wrote:actually, i found that pics (prolly touched up) made a better view than the actual thing?+JuggerNaut+ wrote:p.s. no pic will EVER do that place justice. it has to be seen to be believed.

Gentoo, but the transparency is credited to the newer versions of Xorg (the x-windows system). I'm using Fluxbox, which is a re-hash of Blackbox, because Blackbox is poorly maintained for linux.SOAPboy wrote:Glass2k is fun.l0g1c wrote:Playing with transparency is fun. Still tweaking it, though.

I turned it off recently tho.
your using nix. Built in transparency? What distro?
I am using XGL, of course. Compiz looks neat, but I thought it would be a resources hog. I might still play around with it if the functionality outweighs the resource usage. I'll post some pretty screenies if I do install it someday.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:why aren't you rolling xgl/compiz instead of semi boring window transparencies?
