where's the snow?
I was wondering the same :icon27:
The Alpes mountains barely got any snow this year and with high temperatures all through the winter it fucking sucks for skiing and boarding. I went to Innsbruck for a few days because I had a locoregional anesthesia course, not for snowboarding thank god.
In 3 weeks I'm going to Austria again for some real wintersport. I'm turning to islam if that makes it snowing :icon23:
Austria-sweet jebus the land of milk and honey and by milk I mean extreme riding and by honey I mean more extreme riding! I've never been, always wondered if it lived up to that reputation .
I was reading about the lack of snow here, but I hope to GOD it's just hand-wringing hysteria: http://www.spiegel.de/international/spi ... 98,00.html
"03/01/2007 - According to a study published at the start of this winter's ski season by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), global warming could jeopardize as many as two-thirds of all ski areas in the Alps. "
DB is leaving stalker messages on my flickr pages. rofl. BTW that one chick in your photo is positively hot. *boing*
Maybe i should wait on the blad till I get home and pick one up from the states. In no hurry actually plus I might get a Mamiya 6 instead because it's easier to handle and more convinient.

I usually go to France cause it's cheaper and the smelly French have bigger and higher ski areas. But the villages lack a lot of atmosphere and cosiness that Austria has. They become deserted concrete places in summertime.
In Austria happy trees, Heidi and the family Von Trapp really live in those villages

I thought you might get a kick out of that. I'm not anti-hdr per se, but I saw this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/bunenb/407088575/ and I knew I either had to create the group myself or join one if it already existed
Edit: speaking of HDR, the new Mark III has 14-bit raw instead of 12, so the files retain a lot more shadow and highlight detail...
