how do i do a good tonemapped HDR? and i mean one with about 6-7 stops?

I'm going to give it ago.
Very simple guide:
1) Take 6-7 shots at different exposures, or use Photoshop to adjust the exposure from a RAW and save them (taking multiple shots works better), name them something useful, i.e. -2.jpg, -1.5.jpg, -1.jpg etc

2) Get Photomatrix Pro (/PM me for it) - http://www.hdrsoft.com/

3) In Photomatrix go to HDR > Generate > Browse and add all of the images you saved from 1). Click ok.

4) In the next window you may be asked to enter the EV of the images. Because you named the images usefully you should see -1.jpg on the left so in the box to the right enter -1 etc. Click ok and wait a few seconds and it will show you your combined picture.

5) Go to HDR > Tone Mapping and adjust the sliders to suit.

heh, if you want many views and comments, you'll have to send your photo to many many groups and kiss other contacts their ass ;)

btw, nice thing of flickr is that you can import a RSS feed of every group/person photostream into your newsreader. I've subscribed to some, like Wallpaper Photo Pool......getting nice and fresh photos every day in NetNewsWire without visiting that site.

Since I'm a little over 5'10" then you must be like 8 feet tall or something, right?

Thanks but it's from Form who first post it in my thread. So he deserves the credit. I couldn't see it from my place and wouldn't have been able to take a pic of it with my crap camera.

I was bored in the garden and thought it would be easy to take a picture of a pheasant, but no, as soon as I focus they jump off in another direction. I also forget to fill flash so it's a bit dark :(.
