Cheers. I have tried a while now to log in and guess I haven't played fro about 18 months/2 years. I changed my ISP and email address since, forgetting to update Mojang. Seems I will have to contact them... I am pretty sure I paid for the 'game' years ago but after starting the topic :D

Edit: day later. Email off for Mojang pleading my case so wish me luck.

Hey, anyone know, are the old worlds/realms compatible with the new game?

I have so many saved games. One dated the 12th Aug 2015 I easily found. The earliest exe is dated Saturday, ‎25 ‎October ‎2014. Interesting :info:

Yay!

Mojang instructions :smirk: didn't seem to help so I consulted other means and you know what I mean. With a little work I am back in one of my many worlds. Saved ready for move to Windows 10 and in November 2015. I see I was on the Q3W server at one time... Just have to remember how to play :smirk:

it is, but sort of isn't too, in that it's a real MC snapshot released by Mojang but it won't be updated further or supported, i.e. not a feature of the official game

pretty neat but i imagine the novelty will wear off after a while

the atmospheric effects are pretty but i've always though more texture realism is a mistake given that the world is made a fucking cubes :alert:
