				ctf_2fort and hydro are the only official maps I play, all the other ones are shit.

				Ahhh.  Well my friends with several swell PCs (and steam accounts) down the street were kind enough to let this oh so gentle mac user play tf2 for like 8 hours straight with them.  I would say...  It was good.  Not terribly difficult to learn, and pretty fun.  I wish:
1. the soldier could rj a little farther
2. there was SOME way to sort of counter the uber-thingie... like if the engi could build a fast wall or something... it's fucking crazy.  my friend was a medic and i was soldier, and together, we just owned the shit out of people on most of the servers we played on last night.  it reminded me of medics+marines=unstoppable in starcraft
3. sniper needs something more too.  i mean.  i just don't think there are enough situations where you can just sit there and let that thing charge up.  
other than that, it was pretty great.  i really liked the scout, and the spy is just fantastic.. even though it's common practice to just take a few shots at everyone you see, esp. the peeps on your own team aka i got killed quite a bit during  my spying escapades.  
but I still feel like the game is lacking something... I want to say.. personality or something.  it's just missing SOMETHING.. perhaps it's the maps.  I like them, but there is something about them that doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the game?  maybe it needs some bouncy pads. :-)

				the maps are a bit conservative, but that's part of the effort they've made to make it accessible.
if you're fighting uber'd up folks, try to put explosives under their feet (demo, solider) - as long as you can knock them away from the control point until they're vulnerable again then it's all good. wish i had more time to play it, bloody great game.

				if you want to counter the uber, you have to be aggressive towards medics to prevent them from charging, or get them to unleash it prematurely in a last ditch survival effort.

Also, an ubered pair can't cap, so just hold off until it runs out. It only lasts for 10 seconds anyway.
