The people complaining about the relaxed timing could just turn on precision mode.
Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange, Yellow & Orange, Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange x2

Seeing the code visually made it easier to input for myself.

how tight does it make the timing?

You have to be pretty much exact. Try it out, you can always turn it off from the cheat menu if you don't like it. I suggest testing it on a slower song, though.

pretty much, yea
i personally find it a lot easier to have my index finger n the red instead of the green. that way i can slide over to both green or orange, the majority of notes are in the ryb section anyway

I'm actually going to have to agree with this. There are a lot of shitty songs in that game. GH2, as well. Some good ones, too... but I'm already familiar with those.
Also, for the record, the co-op is stupid. They should let two players play the whole song on different difficulties.

you can already do that. thats not co-op tho is it

Yeah... that was a typo. I meant multiplayer.
And which mode is it that lets two people play on different difficulties?

face-off i believe.
not sure if you can do it in pro face off tho

No, I mean... you should be able to play the whole song (not alternate between who is playing at a given time).
I find it boring to play face-off because you play about three seconds, then wait three seconds, then play three seconds , etc...
There should be an option to let two people play the entire song together. Essentially Pro Face-off, but on different difficulties.
But... I should have gone into game development if I wanted to bitch about it.

you cant do pro faceoff in different difficulties?
i guess the only option then is battlemode and not use the powerups

Is there a way to unlock the co-op specific songs so they can be played in quickplay mode solo? I'd like to play Sabotage and Suck My Kiss.

Unlock All Songs:
(YO)(RB)(RO)(GB)(RY)(YO)(RY)(RB)(GY)(GY)(YB)(YB)(YO)(YO)(YB)YR(RY)RYO
Ones in parentheses are played at the same time, if they're not in parentheses, they're individual notes.

It unlocked them for me. I just wanted to play Sabotage and Suck My Kiss and Cities on Fire With Rock and Roll on expert.

They're available in quickplay. Each setlist ends with an additional new song up until about the 6th set.
