Still, can't you les it up with at least 1 of the female npcs? afaik you can in ME1 and Dragon Age
only Kelly, and that doesn't actually 'count' as a proper romance. My fem shep is an import from ME1 where she scissored her life away with Liara. Apparently Liara didn't want to rejoin me for bean flickin' in ME2.

Agreed on all points. I finished my renegade fem Shep playthrough about a month ago and clocked in about 30 hours with absolutely every planet scanned and all missions completed, including all the DLC except the new Overlord. Just to save time, you only need to scan planets that are 'rich' or 'good'.

The Afterlife music is "Callista" by Saki Kaskas for NFS High Stakes. EA recycled it in NHL 06 too.

yeah when you play hard/ insane you really have to stay ontop of ammo types and pick team members according to the type of enemies.

Insanity is easy with the revenant.

Have you got the Overlord DLC? It's utterly excellent and possibly my favourite mission of the lot. I love that you have to use the new Mako (Hammerhead) to travel to the locations for it.

How long does it last? I don't think it's been long enough for me to play thru ME2 again just yet, but I still have my old save files and i'm interested in this DLC.

You can load up any of your ME2 saves—even if you've beaten the game—and continue playing new DLC. They just get added to your galaxy map.

I know that. But I want to play everything from the beginning again, fixing the few mistakes I made the first time round. I think it needs a few more months to keep things fresh though.

Yeah I know what you mean. I beat it again a couple months ago and don't have the time or patience for another playthrough so soon.

It lasts about 2-3 hours I suppose. Longer than a normal mission. It's well worth the money though, it's really good and genuinely creepy in places.

Also, the Hammerhead (new Mako) is really cool.

I think it does mean that there will be vehicle travel again in number 3, which for me, was missed in ME2.

I think I'll wait about a month before ME3 comes out before I replay ME2. I put about 80 hours in on my first attempt, so that should be about right...

If you want Shepard to die you have to let your whole team die, and he commits suicide.
Memphis wrote:just picked up that and Kasumi :owned:

sucks that you can't change class when replaying with a character. i wanna try sentinel or engineer but i'd have to start from level 1
Starting from Level 1 is actually better, especially on Insanity. The enemies scale with you, if you start at the max level it's much harder.

Apparently the only way to get Shepard killed at the end is where you cannot field a minimum 3 person team (2 crew + Shepard) for missions that can occur AFTER the suicide mission.

I'm not sure, I've never just left them there. I wonder what happens if you do.

I've been playing the shit out of this game lately. I just got the IFF and rescued the downed Geth sniper. Hopefully I made some headway on the main story, the recruitment and loyalty missions really soak up a lot of time.

Just beat the game. I wonder what impact your end-game choice will have.

Did you do vanguard on insanity? Hardcore starting from level 30 was fucking hard and I basically only used the SMGs and only charged with 1 guy left.

okay that's it, the gameplay of Mass Effect 2, even on suicidal, bores me to death. I can't play for more than 30 minutes, the combat is just so repetitive and there's nothing else, even for the new mission packs I'm completely uninterested in continuing.
